Never Hurts To Ask

While Jonathan and I were outside landscaping, I saw firemen walking down the street. I thought they were going to drain the fire hydrant on the corner so I told Jonathan to come here. They kept walking closer to our house and ended going into the house next to us for an inspection. Jonathan of course asked "What are you doing?" The firemen were so nice and talked to Jonathan for about 10 minutes. When they came out they said stay here, we are going to go pull the fire truck in front of our house. So the fire truck pulled up in front of our house, lights on and all. Jonathan had the biggest smile on his face. They let him sit in the seat and honk the horn...which was really loud and woke up Diana...oops! Jonathan asked the fireman all sorts of questions which lead them to staying for about an hour, no joke. He asked one of them to get dressed and even asked him to put on his oxygen. Connor and Paxton came over then Alivia and Rocco did. Once the fireman left, Rocco and Alivia stayed to play in the sandpit. It was a fun afternoon!

Happy Easter

Here is a quick post of the kids in their Easter outfits. Excuse my hands, I was a little worried Diana was going to fall.

Diana spent all of about 5 minutes inside of church today...

Bunny Ears

Grandpa Gordy and Nana bought the kids bunny ears. Jonathan was hopping around like a bunny, Diana wouldn't leave hers on and Natalie was happy as always.

Natalie is so cuddly! I got the privledge of getting to hold her for awhile and she even fell asleep on me. Something Diana has never allowed. It made my day!

Easter Bonnet

Diana finally let me put her Easter bonnet on. I think she was so distracted watching all of the older kids run around hunting eggs at the Pusateri egg hunt that she didn't realize it was on her. Thank you to Suzy for taking these pictures.

Chew Chew Chew

Diana is really working on cutting her teeth and loves to chew on the oddest things...such as her socks, shoes, paper, cardboard, plastic bags...basically anything she really isn't suppose to. She could care less about her teething toys. Here she is with one sock in her mouth, shoe in one hand and trying to get her other sock off. Oh and we discovered that if we put something in our mouth, we can crawl (or bottom scoot) with it.

So Sad

Poor Diana! She was a mess from eating dinner and kept running her hands through her hair. Literally her hair was sticking up everywhere, the picture doesn't do it justice. She was tired and ready to get out of her highchair but I had to get a picture.

Jonathan 4 Year Checkup

Jonathan had his 4 year checkup today. He weighed in at 42 pounds and was 40 1/2" long. I was shocked by the 42 pounds as he weighed 39.5 on our scale at home not that long ago. He is definitely growing! I looked at him the other day and thought, wow he is all legs! The doctor noticed all of his bruises and scrapes on his legs and said she would be worried if he didn't have them...it shows her that he is a very active boy. Ha! He had to get two shots, which I hadn't really prepped him for because I forgot about it. Well, it didn't go well! I had to basically pin him down and he did ok for the first one but after he had it, he REALLY didn't want the second one. He cried pretty hard and it was all I had to get him some what still. Glad that is done for another year. The nurse said 4 and 5 are the worst years to give shots. He also had his eyes checked...he had to read an eye chart and cover one eye. He did really well! Thankfully he doesn't have mommy's eyes, yet anyway.
