Snow Day

Snow party at the Weeks' house today!  Alex, Evan, Paxton and Connor joined in on the fun.  Came inside to warm up with hot chocolate and it then hit me how many boys really are in the neighborhood (this wasn't even all of them).  No one will be messing with Diana with having all of these "brothers."  Not that I would advise anyone to mess with her anyway.

Whoa Hair

Nice hair Diana.  Maybe you don't have a hair modelling job in your future after all.  She must have had a good nap today.

HPPE Holiday Party

Diana definitely unsure about Santa.  She has a nervous habit of chewing on her fingers, captured it well.

A busy craft room but it was fun to see the kids and all of their friends.

HPPE Santa

We had my mom's group, HPPE, holiday party today. We were all sitting having breakfast, Diana was being really good and eating well until all of a sudden she starts crying. I couldn't figure out what was wrong until I heard the "Ho! Ho! Ho!" Santa had walked into the room and she was terrified. Poor thing! My neighbor Suzy was able to get Diana to go with her to listen to the story by Santa. She eventually warmed up to Santa and stopped crying but refused to sit on his lap. Shocker! When I asked Jonathan to go with Diana to see Santa, he said "Ok, but I already told Santa what I want." There were sign up times but little did I know that Jonathan snuck in the line early.

Fun in the Snow

Diana even had fun playing in the snow today.  Jonathan has some serious Minnesota blood in him as he was pretty much outside all day!  It helps that he has all of the winter gear but I am amazed at how the cold doesn't bother him.  Diana on the other hand, well let's just say she is my daughter.

Leaf Pile

I finally got around to raking a leaf pile for the kids.  Luckily we are having warm weather, making it extra fun.  They were racing and jumping into the pile, priceless.

Oh Christmas Tree

The kids were mesmerized by the Christmas tree today.  They helped decorate it and loved the fact that they both laid down to look at it.  I think it is going to be a fun Christmas!
