Tooth Fairy
Most people would have thought that the Tooth Fairy would come for Jonathan first, but actually he came for Diana...mind you Jonathan is still not happy about this. Diana hit her mouth on our end tables Saturday and I didn't think much of it at the time. It wasn't until later that night that I realized she had a crack in her tooth. Sunday morning when she woke up, I noticed that it had cracked in half. Her dentist was out of town on Monday but we got into see her first thing Tuesday morning. Diana loved her sunglasses she got to wear and was all happy until we had to go take X-rays, it went down hill from there. One quick glance by the dentist and she said, "Yep we need to pull it." I figured this would be the case but I was hoping for different news. Diana was a very very brave little girl through a horrible experience. I hope I never have to go through this again. The shots of novocain were the worst but the extraction was not fun either. Immediately afterwards Diana was treated like a princess and everything was forgotten by my little baby. She got a push pop popsicle, 2 gold tokens for the tower of treasure (which she got a hot pink smiley face bouncy ball), pink fangs for Halloween, and the best part, she got her nails painted! At first, I was like "Oh great, I already have blood and popsicle on me, now I am going to have nail polish on me." However, this was not this dentist office's first rodeo, they used the air tool they use on your teeth to dry her nails. Ingenious! Diana has never had her finger nails painted before so she thought this was really cool. She shows everyone her missing tooth now and immediately shows them her fingers too!
