There was much to do at the pirate party. First, all crew had to walk the plank before entering the party. The kids then played pirate bowling and with Jonathan's playmobile pirate ship while they waited for everyone to arrive. Next up was Captain Hook Pretzels (forgot to get a picture...but kids had 30 seconds to get as many pretzels on a pirate hook as possible). Next on the list was the treasure hunt/dig. We buried a bunch (144 to be exact) gold coins and 84 necklaces in the sandpit. The kids had a blast digging and finding their treasure. We lucked out as the weather was gorgeous and I think the kids could have dug all day! After the dig, Jonathan led them on a hunt around the house to find the missing "treasure," hidden swords (Jonathan hid before the party).
