Don't you just love the cabin! That is what my "GrnPa" says all the time. I learned how to say "GrnPa" this weekend and wouldn't stop saying it. Maybe it's because I wanted more treats and I knew who to get them from. Auntie Heidi and Uncle Jason spoiled me rotten by buying so many new toys for me to play with. I had fun with all of them...the lawnmower, car/car keys, car garage, school bus, barn... Nana got to spend quality time with me while everyone else went golfing. I liked the hottub too! Can't wait until July when I can get in the lake!

Trip To MN
Mommy and I went to MN for Memorial Day weekend while Daddy was in Columbus golfing. Although I wouldn't nap on the plane or in the car, I travelled really well to MN and then to the cabin. In Minneapolis, I got to see Grandma Carol and she let me drive her car! It was soooo much fun! I also got to meet my new friend Luke Swanson. I was a little jealous of mommy holding another baby so Nana distracted me. My new toy box is really cool...I liked to crawl into it and play in it.

Rough Night
I was so excited to see Daddy tonight because I haven't seen him in two days (he was working late). Apparently I was too excited to see him because I was following him too close crawling up the stairs and he accidentally kicked me in the face with the heal of his shoe and my eyelid got cut. Then when I had calmed down from that, I was walking and I tripped over Daddy's feet, fell and busted my lip open. It's been a rough night!

Words
My first word was Daddy and I say it all the time. I think Mommy gets jealous some times. I can also say Oh Oh, Mommy (but rarely say it), ball and I bark whenever I see or hear a dog. I even will take my bottle out of my mouth to bark when I hear a dog. It's quite cute! Although Mommy and Daddy are worried I will be asking for a dog some day...they said it's a good thing I have so many friends that have dogs.

New Tricks
Mommy likes me to show off my new skills...I know how to wave, give high five, do "So Big" and throw my hands up, do sign language for "more" (I like food), and blow kisses. I am also very into sorting, stacking and figuring out how things work. Mommy says I remind her a lot of daddy with how I analyze things....oh oh!

Daddy's Boy
Mommy had to go to LA for work this week (Sun-Wed) and Daddy and I had a good time. As if I wasn't already a Daddy's boy, I am even
more so now! Daddy and I like to play rough and tough and no one was home to stop us! Mommy did realize though that we must have wrestled every night while she was gone because now when she brings me home from TT's house, I go straight up to their bedroom and point to the bed and want up. Daddy also comes up with other creative fun things to do, like spin me around, let me ride on his shoulders and play with bubbles...I love to try and catch the bubbles.

New Porch
Mommy and Daddy (really Daddy) have been working hard the past two weekends. Last weekend they hauled two truck loads of dirt into the lawn to fillin holes from old tree stumps that were removed. Mommy says I am going to get to watch grass grow now but we will see. Then this weekend they decided to tear off the front room to turn it back into a front porch. Mommy is really excited! I think Daddy will be too once his blisters heal on his hands. Daddy tore the whole thing apart on Saturday and then hauled everything to the dumpster on Sunday. Glad I am not old enough to help!

Quality Time with GB
TT was in San Antonio this week so Grandma Bev (GB) watched me and we got to spend some quality time together. We played outside a lot and GB taught me how to water Mommy's newly planted flowers. She also sang to me, read me lots of books and of course played with all my toys. GB thinks I am going to be a good little athlete some day as she said I already have good balance, I can sort of throw a ball and I am playing with a tennis racquet already (well I hold it anyway)...I will trust her judgement as she was a P.E. teacher. Thanks for taking care of me this week. I had a lot of fun and Mommy really appreciated it!
