Miss this Guy

I sure am going to miss this guy! He is hands down the happiest baby I have ever known. He is so good and easy going. Heidi and Jason, you are wonderful parents! I loved having everyone here for the weekend. Thank you Noah for making your first airplane ride be to Cincinnati.

Zoo Blooms

The weather held and we made it to Zoo Blooms. The flowers were gorgeous and we got to go with Noah to his first zoo visit!

Rules don't apply to Diana.  "Authorized Personnel Only" sign and fence won't stop her.

Proof on who taught Jonathan to eat popcorn.

Nana's Picture

Nana requested a picture of her and the grandkids while everyone was visiting us.  I think it's obvious in most of the pictures I post, but Diana does everything on her terms.  If she doesn't want to smile at the camera, you aren't going to get her to.  If she isn't in the mood for taking pictures...well you never know what you will get. By the way, do you like her outfit?!?!

Car Wash

Nothing like a last little bit of fun before Nana and Grandpa have to leave.  The kids "helped" by washing Nana's car for the road trip.  Diana's pants got wet so she decided she didn't need them on anymore.  Oh that girl, just gotta love her!

Happy Easter

What a wonderful day! It all started with one little boy super excited that the Easter Bunny came, that he woke us all up at 6:22 am. The kids found their baskets pretty quickly and had candy and painted a picture before 7 am. Then we were off to the 8 am Mass where the kids got to see a lot of friends. Our whole row was people we knew. Very fun! After church, Uncle Kyle, Aunt Amanda and cousins Natalie and Andrew came from brunch and a little egg hunt. Totally unplanned, the little boys matched each other. I loved watching the kids together and just the pure excitement they bring to one another. While Diana napped, Brad, Jonathan and I played a game of Monopoly. Jonathan's new found favorite thing to do. We have played hours of Monopoly since Thursday. Brad has won both times but Jonathan is a remarkable sport about it. I can't believe Jonathan is old enough to play monopoly. It's amazing how much older they seem once they can read. We spent the rest of the afternoon outside playing, which included a water gun fight with some neighbors and dinner outside. It was a perfect day to remind us how blessed we are!

Creamy Whip

Creamy Whip is open!

Egg Hunt

What a gorgeous morning for an egg hunt! The kids had a blast. Fun with friends, lots of candy, face painting and even a little metal detector adventure (with some poor innocent bystander).

Jonathan 6 Year Check-up

Jonathan had his 6 year check-up today, and as Dr. Bagamery, said, "He is a perfectly healthy boy." She was impressed with his 6 pound weight gain, but she said wasn't concerned because just looking at him you can tell it's muscle. Which made me laugh, because I noticed in the past few months that he is turning into a real boy. He has pecks! He is built just like his father, luckily little boy. Brad asks Jonathan all the time, when he is tucking him into bed, are there tree trunks (legs) under here (sheets)? All the sports that Jonathan plays are obviously helping his physique. He is still between the 50-75% for weight and at 45" tall, 50% for height. He did NOT have to get a shot today, which made him so happy. He was really nervous. The nurse didn't even have the door shut and he was asking her if he would need to get one today. The doctor eased his mind further by saying he wouldn't need one until he was 11. Very blessed for a healthy check-up.
