E-I-E-I-E-I-O

I learned all sorts of new tricks while I was on my second Hoehn family reunion vacation at the lake. I can now say E-I-E-I-E-I-O, I try and touch my tongue to my nose, I shake hands, I do Bumble Bee with my finger and say bumble bumble, I try and do itsy bitsy spider (all thanks to Nana) and I give fishy kisses (thanks to Auntie Heidi). I might be forgetting something because it was a busy week! One of my favorite things to do was go out to Grmpa's pontoon and drive. Mommy said this is the longest I have ever sat doing one thing.

Such a Big Boy

I am completely done with the pacifier! Haven't had it since Friday and I am doing just fine without it. Well, I may wake up in the morning and let Mommy & Daddy know about it right away versus before I would be quiet for awhile in my bed.

My other new thing is that I like to sit in chairs like a big boy. I need a boost to get up but then I am very proud of myself sitting in an adult chair. I ate dessert with Kyle, Amanda and Mommy on Sunday in a chair all by myself. So fun!

Oh and for the past week or so I have really enjoyed walking on my tiptoes. No one can quiet figure out why or when I decide to do it.

No Pacifier

I went to sleep tonight without my pacifier for the first time ever. Mommy hid it under my lion in my bed last night but I found it before she was even down the steps. Tonight she hid it under my elephant and I didn't find it before I fell asleep. It took me a little longer than normal to fall asleep but I didn't cry. Mommy and Daddy are proud of me.

Sandbox

Today TT took Dean and I to play at our friend, Ryan's, new sandbox. My first time playing in a sandbox and I really liked it. I only tried to eat the sand once and realized it didn't taste very good. TT had to help me get the sand off my tongue though because I kept trying to use the hand with sand on it to get it off my tongue...still have some things to learn.

This picture was taken a few weeks ago but I really like it when Aaron plays with us during his lunch break. More flips more flips!

Dentist & Burwood Pool

Today I had a dentist appointment for my first checkup and to have them look at that Bohn's Nodule (Lamina Cyst) I had at 3 months. We went to a different dentist this time and Mommy liked her better. The cyst is almost gone so the dentist told mommy not to worry about it anymore. She said I didn't have any plaque on my teeth and gave mommy some pointers on how to help me clean my teeth and prevent decay. The only time I whined was when the hygenist cleaned my teeth...that tool makes a weird noise and it tickles! I cried a little bit when the dentist was looking around in my mouth but everyone said I did a really good job. All of the women in the office thought I was adorable and kept saying how handsome I was. The only bad news was that the dentist said she thinks my pacifier is causing my teeth to come in too narrow and suggested I get rid of it. Oh oh!

After my 3 hour nap today (1pm-4pm) we went to the Burwood pool (at the end of Floral Ave) with Paxton and Connor. We played in the baby pool and had a blast. Both Paxton and I went under the water a couple of times and scared our mommies but it didn't even phase us. I missed my friend's while they were on vacation. I am frequently pulling Mom's hand to walk over to Paxton and Connor's house to either play with them or the doggies.

Fort

Look at the cool fort Daddy built me. I played in it all day!

Wrestling Moves

I am still practicing my wrestling with Daddy almost every day. Today he taught me how to really "blow up" my "tackling dummy" as we like to call it.
