Once Upon...

I am into telling stories these days. I will ask if you want to hear a good or bad story. All of my stories start out with "Once upon..." (sometimes "Once upon a time..." but not always) and they usually involve a ghost or dragon and some sort of animal (alligator, chicks, ducks) and depending on if it is a good or bad story, I save the "ducks" with my "Golden Spike" (my yellow sword) or the dragon scares the chicks. Next time you see me, you will have to ask to hear a story.

Such A Big Boy

Wow, have I grown up! So I have been in my big boy bed for awhile now but I never would get out of it unless Mommy or Daddy told me I could...I would just yell for them when I woke up. The other night around midnight, Mommy heard someone trying to open her bedroom door and freaked out...but it ended up just being me because I had to go potty. Ever since then I get up and out my room on my own. My mommy likes this now as she hears me in the morning get out of my bed, open my door and then her door. I come in and prop my little head on her bed and say "Good morning Mommy! I slept in!" (Of course sleeping in to me can be anywhere from 6 am - 7:30 am). I then tell Mommy to get up and brush her teeth and off I go to my bathroom where I take my pullup off and go potty all by myself and brush my teeth. I have now stayed dry for 2 weeks both in the morning and during nap. I also go to the bathroom on my own during the day as long as I don't have any tricky zippers or buttons to deal with. Mommy doesn't remember the last time I had an accident. I do like to tell people that boys go potty standing up and girls sit down.

Preschool

I got accepted to preschool for the fall! I will be going Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings starting in September. I am very excited to go to "big boy" school and hopefully one of my friends that is going as well will be in my class.

I love you soooo much

I have already learned the way to my mommy's heart. Lately I have been saying, randomly, "Mommy, I love you soooo much!" Followed up with a hug and a kiss. It went over so well that I tell Daddy and bear the same now.

Nana & Grandpa Gordy Visit

Nana and Grandpa Gordy came to visit me! I got spoiled and of course "got into trouble" with them. It was so great having them here. A huge help to Mommy and Daddy as they have been very busy with work.

Here I am busy at work...

I love to bake and use Mommy's mixer so we made chocolate chip cookies...shhh don't tell but the reason why I like to help bake is so that I can lick the beaters.

Playing with my tools and fixing things is still one of my favorite activities...

I love my Grandpa Gordy! Snuggle time after we woke up from our naps, yes Grandpa Gordy would sleep on my floor while I took a nap. I loved every minute of it!

Nana decided it was time for a lesson in "finding" things...so her and I shot my dart gun into the "garage" (i.e, entry way) and then I would have to go find the darts. Thanks Nana for teaching me this valuable lesson. Oh and see my trampoline that we are sitting on, Nana and Grandpa Gordy bought it for me to help release some of my energy this winter.

Baby Sister

We found out today that I will be having a baby sister!!! I am so excited to teach my baby sister things like: standing up, walking, and talking. I am also very excited to turn my toddler bed back into a crib for my baby sister as that means I get bunk beds!

Hockey

Today we went to Daddy's friends house to play hockey. They have an ice skating rink in their backyard...how cool! I even got to try skates for the first time. I quickly realized it was much easier without skates but I gave it a try. Afterwards we had pancakes!
