Girls

Jonathan continues to be very attracted to girls.  My friend, Ariel, even noticed this at a school fieldtrip last week (I was unable to attend but Shonda took Jonathan and Ariel was there).  Apparently, there is a very pretty girl in Rocco's class that has long blond hair.  Ariel caught Jonathan totally mesmerized by her and at one point she said, "it looked like he was going to touch her hair [but he didn't]."  She said it looked just like a little boy falling in love.  Jonathan has yet to talk about this particular girl but he did tell me at church today that he liked the "Number 7 (she had a 7 on the back of her shirt) girl."  Later that night he said, "Do you know why I liked that girl with the 7?"  I said probably because she had long hair.  He smiled and said "Well yea, but I liked her bottom."  He had to tell me this under the table as he was afraid Dad would get mad if he heard.  I asked "Why he liked her bottom" and his reply, "because she was wearing tight leggings."  I can only imagine these conversations in a few years.  For now, it is cute and innocent but what is to come?!?!

Shoes

Diana has discovered shoes.  We were at the Pusateri's yesterday playing and she loved the girls play shoes.  Now she goes and gets all of our shoes, even Brad's and tries to walk around in them.  It's really cute.  She also can say shoes and socks now and is very vocal about which shoes and socks she wants to wear.  I can see where my future is going with her.  I have a feeling she will own a lot more pairs of shoes than Jonathan ever did.

Outside Finally!

Finally a nice day to be able to play outside!  We were all in need of it.  We even took a walk down to Mimi's (Mary's - Jonathan's old daycare) to see if they were outside playing.  Jonathan came home with a bag of chocolate chip muffins, his favorite and still remembers them from Mary's.  He even shared with Diana.

So cute and innocent...
Oh wait, that's right it's little Miss Diana...daredevil!
Jonathan in handcuffs and two guns down his pants...not really sure what else to say about this picture!
Diana jumping away...I love how her hair is all over the place in this picture and you can tell she is jumping.

Sneak Peak

Nana helped me cut out the bandanna's for Jonathan's birthday party.  I had the kids try them on for me. I can't wait for Jonathan's party to see all of the kids running around in them.

Diana's 2nd Haircut

Diana finally got her second haircut today.  She needed it but I want it long so I was putting her haircut off.  She got a 1/2 inch cut off but you can hardly tell, it is still pretty long (for her age anyway).  The haircut makes her hair look thicker and more full, which is what Lynne had told me.  Lynne was even able to get Diana's hair in pigtails, which I still have yet to do.  She won't sit still for me.  She did a really good job sitting still though for Lynne.

Auntie Heidi & Nana Visit

Nana and Auntie Heidi caught a webfare and came to visit us last minute!  Yea!  The kids got spoiled with lots of attention and fun activities (shrinky dinks, baking cookies, King Arthur's Court, puzzles).  It was a great visit!

Pirate Invitations

I  have been working hard on Jonathan's 5th birthday party invitations.  He picked a cute theme, "Pirates."  I got the invitation idea from Pintrest (of course) and I must say I think they turned out pretty cute.
