6 Months Old

Can you believe I am 6 months old already? I had my 6 month checkup today (one day late of my half birthday) and I weighed 19 pounds, 2 ounces and was 26 1/2" long. I am still in the 75% for weight and in the 50-75% for height. I had to get 4 shots they hurt at the time but now I am jumping away in my jumperoo and mommy can't even tell I had shots today. This picture daddy took of me sitting in my pack 'n play...I don't like to lay down anymore if I am awake now that I know how to sit up.

Love My Veggies

I love my vegetables that my mommy and daddy have been feeding me. Mommy says I look like a little bird with my mouth open waiting for food. I usually eat at 6 pm and if it is any later than that, I will let you know about it. So far I have had carrots, peas, mixed vegetables and squash. I get to start fruits soon.

Mirrors

Daddy and I were having fun with the mirrors today. I still don't know who that is staring back at me though.

First Time Swinging

Well hurricane Ike decided to pay a visit to Cincy and we had the worst winds in history. Our neighbor's tree fell down and we were without power for almost a week. Luckily GB and Grandpa had power so we stayed there for the week. We got spoiled by good meals and wine (Mommy and Daddy only). One day GB had a great idea to take me to the park and I got to swing and go down the slide for the first time. It was a lot of fun!

Sitting Up

Jonathan is still working on sitting up. He is doing much better and can sit on his own for about 15 seconds. He of course loves having toys in front of him to play with or chew on.

Sleepy Baby

Since I am just learning how to post videos to Jonathan's blog, this was from a while ago (trip to MN in July) but it was too cute I had to post it. If you notice his shirt says party animal...I think he partied too hard that day!
